HNC, Inc. also holds an annual Historic Preservation Awards program to recognize community preservation efforts. The awards are held in May in recognition of Historic Preservation month. The summer months bring many activities including "Our Town: Architecture Camp" which is a two-day camp for kids ages 9-12. The kids go on a walking tour of New Carlisle’s downtown and residential area and learn about the various architectural styles and types as well as learning about the history of the buildings. Kids look at pictures of what the town looked like before and see the changes that have taken place over the years. Hands-on crafts and activities are also part of the camp.
We host an annual N.C.H.S. Alumni Open House for attendees and graduates of the old New Carlisle High School.
