| Ways you can help... Your support is vital to the continued success of Historic New Carlisle, Inc. and the Old Republic. Please consider making a donation to the Old Republic General Fund or our Challenge Grant Fund. The Old Republic General Fund is a fund which helps to pay for ongoing restoration of the house and grounds, maintenance and general operating costs such as our mortgage and gas and utility bills. The Challenge Grant Fund is very important in helping to meet our requirements for our 3-year challenge grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The grant has allowed HNC, Inc. to hire its first, full-time staff person to help coordinate and oversee our office, museum and programming. HNC, Inc. has been challenged to raise $45,000 over a three-year period which is being matched by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana.
